When I was like 17 I was an admin for a big roblox group, I know it has little correlation. I understand discord management and how to toe the line between a staff member who is fun and easy going, and someone who comes of as a dick and a hardass.

I'm generally a calm, collected person. When someone makes a claim against someone such as that they are cheating -- I never jump the gun and I am always skeptical.
In addition to that I don't take banter to heart, I would never get riled up and kick/ban someone for banter and just general shit talking.
I believe image is an important thing and I don't want to tarnish my own or a brand/group I'm representing. I'm very conscious of my behaviour.
What do you think makes a good staff member
I think competence above all makes a good staff member. Clear and concise decision-making as well.
I think something that is overlooked when it comes to people who are staff members of anything, is their ability to communicate.
Someone who is able to have fun with players and remembers we're just playing a game, have fun and ensure other's enjoyment as well.
I touched on it before, but someone who doesn't jump the gun. People are accused of cheating too often and I'd rather a server with 0 false bans. A staff member who understands how to spot a cheater is an extremely important asset.
