What additional talents/skills could you bring to the staff team
The skills that I could introduce to the Karma community would include my experiences, knowledge, and determination within the community. First of all, I have acquired a multitude of staff experience throughout my many years playing, as well as becoming staff on several servers and continuously learning from those experiences. Being experienced is essential for a staff member because of the power that they hold, an experienced staff member will be able to control and handle situations thrown at them smoothly and bring about an air of professionalism in the process. Furthermore, my knowledge of the community and the game brings a new perspective on matters, whether it is large staff projects or common moderation throughout the community.
I have been playing CS:GO since 2013, and I have around 6000+ hours playing much, if not all of the existing game modes spread throughout CS:GO. While experiences and knowledge are important there is one skill that outshines both, that is determination and dedication to the community. I have been around the community for a long time and it has grown deep in my heart, it is something that I care about and I do not want it changing for the worse. I am determined to do anything that I can to help the community, it does not matter if it takes up a lot of my free time the truth is that I want all of the new CS:GO players to experience the nice and welcoming community that once welcomed me. The truth is that the CS:GO community is changing, and I want to be on the right side of it in order to help steer it in the right direction.
What do you think makes a good staff member
A good member of the staff team should possess many qualities some of which being reliable, motivated, and mature. Being reliable is incredibly important as a staff member should be available in case any situation arises on the servers. This will allow for the players to have a smoother experience on the servers and a higher likelihood of coming back. Not only is it important to be reliable but it is also equally important to be motivated, these two traits tie together and form a much stronger quality. Motivated is when you have an interest and an enthusiasm while doing something, and being happy and doing a task will affect the people around you causing a much more positive mood. The last quality is maturity which is as important as the other qualities, it brings a sense of professionalism and will make the players respect and follow Karma's rules. Lastly, all of these qualities are important however I believe that a good staff member needs to be kind and respect others, this will ensure that they will be treated the same way and by respecting this includes not breaking server rules.
I should be staff because of several reasons, I possess many qualities seen in good staff members and I have many additional skills that I am able to bring to the community. I have been staff many times before and I have gotten positive feedback and people have enjoyed the skills and qualities that I have brought to their staff team. Everything from helping to build spawns on Minecraft servers to helping build a stronger community throughout my history as staff. I have always been willing to help in any way possible either through learning new skills or helping handle situations. Due to my love for the community, I am more determined than I have been to help the community grow in a positive way. I am knowledgeable about almost every single gamemode in CS:GO, whether it is AWP BHOP or Combat Surf I actively play all of them on the Karma Gaming servers, and know the rules that are in place. In the end I all I want to do is help the community to ensure that every player has a good experience playing on the servers. I know that my reputation has been hurt before but I want to take this opportunity not only to help improve the community but to help improve myself as a person.
