I have been playing on Karma since the first day it started and know how much Karma has grown in the past couple of years and I hope to be a part of Karma's progress in the future. I want to be staff so I can make sure that every player is having a good time on Karma. I don't want anyone to be harassed or bullied on Karma. I've been active on combat surf recently have noticed loads of racist/homophobic comments being made. I've played on many community servers and know all the ins and outs of what it takes to run one. I can appreciate that there are still people trying to find ways to repopulate the servers considering that they have died. All the staff on Karma actually care about the servers, and the managers/developers are still active and are always looking to make Karma better. My goals are to help new players, regrow the community, and create a safe environment for everyone to play in. I have not seen a single staff member online on the combat surf servers since I have started playing on them again (3-4 weeks). I have been immature in the past I hope you understand that I'm moving past that and ask the staff team for a second chance.
What do you think makes a good staff member
A good staff member reads the rules thoroughly and contributes his or her thoughts to both new and old rules. They also should always be looking for new and better ways to help out the community. Good staff know how to assess proper punishment and have a broad understanding of the rules. They also recognizes when things are taken too far and punishment is needed. Staff members should look out for the players and their community. They should also recognize when someone is new to the server and explain the rules in a way they understand. In addition, they should be able to answer any questions people have about the rules or server. They care about their community and takes action when needed while looking into both sides of the story.
