I was a staff member on a Minecraft server for a while. I handled basic mutes and kicked trouble makers from the server.

What additional talents/skills could you bring to the staff team
I would be a useful asset to the staff team by being able to enforce the rules effectively without discouraging people from playing on the server. I feel like this balance is something that is needed on the staff team, as some members over punish/enforce while others let stuff slide too much, setting a bad precedent for players. Aswell I am knowledgeable of the rules, to the point where my first month on the Karma server I was seeing how far I could stretch the rules. Since then I have stopped stretching the rules but I now know the rules better due to that phase. Aswell I am already friendly with several staff members on the server so I would be able to integrate well into the staff team.

What do you think makes a good staff member
I feel like a good staff member is someone who gives new players the opportunity to learn the server and its rules without being too harsh and discouraging players from playing on the server. I feel like this is very important since these staff will deter new people from joining the server from harsh punishments or from staff not doing anything.
