In chronological order, I have been a server moderator on Halo servers since around 2013. Duties included playing on the servers, catching ESP users and aimbotters, and moderating the chat. There was a short stint where our group attempted to expand into CS:GO, I have experience running CS:GO servers and using commands as a result of this, but the attempt never took off.
Next, I have been a global moderator or brand ambassador on a music streaming website called plug.dj. The site was designed around playing YouTube videos to a group of people, ideally for sharing music. As you can probably imagine, some decided to not only play music so I was the one skipping those videos and perma banning.
Finally, I used to be a moderator on a Minecraft server called Mineplex several years ago. Duties mostly included moderating high volumes of chat and discord voice channels.

I have experience coding in python if that matters :P. I also have experience running servers and, as stated before, moderating.
Skills that I can bring to the team are mostly through my moderating and online experience. I've learned how to keep calm under pressure and make decisions with common sense, keeping all sides heard and recognized. In addition to just connecting with people, good vibes beget more good vibes, and the more likely people will come back to servers.
What do you think makes a good staff member
The ability to keep calm under pressure, attentiveness, as chat and voice chat can be fast paced and loud, being active, and most of all patience.
