I can bring someone already knowledgeable of the rules and how Karma regulates. I'll admit I haven't been as active on CSURF due to a disinterest of the game-mode which is what happens to most long-term players of it, but my willingness to get better at Comp and 1v1's will drive me to be ready for any situation that may dawn on the server. Also, my past experience will allow me to understand situations better than most individuals.
What do you think makes a good staff member
I think a good staff member has to have certain qualities, They should be a perfectionist when it comes to the servers regulation, they also have to be enthusiastic about their job. Commitment to the server also plays a big role in being a staff member. Finally, I believe a basic understanding of humans will provide more than enough to improve upon certain situations and understand peoples intentions and actions.
